Primer – Description
CALCEM PRIMER is a high quality white acrylic latex sealant, penetrant and binder for exterior and interior wall surfaces. It can be used as the first coat on a new properly cured concrete, plaster, and dry wall, as well as on previously painted surfaces that have become moderately powdery or chalky. In most cases primer is necessary.
Primer – Directions
Apply only at a temperature above F ° 40 ° (C ° 4.5 °) and below F ° 95 ° (C ° 35 °). Stir thoroughly before using and occasionally while using. Apply generously, using brush, roller or sprayer. CALCEM PRIMER should dry to the touch in 1 to 2 hours under normal drying conditions. Allow to dry approximately 48 to 60 hours before applying the first coat of lime paint. One gallon CALCEM PRIMER covers at a rate of approximately 300 square feet per gallon on a smooth, non-porous surface. On porous, rough or textured surfaces, a gallon should cover 150 to 250 square feet at the same film thickness.
